Several GATEFORUM students have secured outstanding ranks in GATE with the GATE’12 highlights being 36 students in the top 20.

There are vital differences between GATEFORUM and the other players in the industry – with respect to geographical spread and the spectrum of courses/services offered. While most are limited to one city or one region, GATEFORUM is a pan India organization with more than 55 centers in the country. And while most offer only the classroom program, GATEFORUM is the only one to offer a wide variety of courses – from ICP to eGATE.

GATEFORUM has fee waivers for economically challenged as well as academically outstanding students.

The faculty at the centers would be a mix of experts in the field of GATE training with years of experience and those who have aced GATE in recent years.

New Delhi, 25 July, 2012: GATEFORUM, an established player in preparation for the influential Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) today announced the launch of its maiden centres for the aspiring GATE aspirants in Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. Situated at C - 56/A3, 4th Floor, Sector 62 in Noida, C-5/RDC, 3rd floor, Raj Nagar in Ghaziabad and  2nd Floor, 5E/8, B.P., Railway Road, NIT in Faridabad ,the GATEFORUM centers are well equipped with state of the art infrastructure and training module.
 
The NCR region alone accounted for more than 10% of the total GATE’12 registrations with around 74093 registrations, and within NCR, Ghaziabad, Noida and Faridabad, had 9300, 8025 and 4122 registrations respectively.
 
GATE is the qualifying exam for ME/M.Tech/MS courses in Indian institutes and universities like IISc, IITs, NITs, Government engineering colleges etc. Another reason why GATE is critical and much sought after these days is because it is the qualifying exam for jobs in reputed PSUs like BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, Power Grid Corp etc. In other words, GATE is the door to great opportunities in the corporate world. Also, having a good score in GATE is a plus point on the resume, with many organizations like HAL, BARC, BEL, SAIL, DRDO, TIFR and BARC recognizing its importance.
 
 
Announcing their entry in the NCR, after the two existing centers in Delhi,  Mr. Abhijit Chaudhari, Director, GATEFORUM said, “GATE is the second largest qualifying exam in India, after AIEEE,  with 6.86 lakh test takers for GATE 2012 and we expect the number of applicants to go up to 7.5- 8 lakh next year. But even with such a huge demand, many aspirants do not have access to good quality training at their convenience. Realizing this need of aspirants, we have come with our well equipped centers in all the three cities of NCR”.
 
Also present on the occasion, Mr. Aditya Reddy, Director GATEFORUM added “There are not too many players in the organized GATE coaching market, a need which would be addressed through our centers. We will offer high quality training programs from traditional classroom training to eGATE and LIVE internet based classes. With our existing 55 centers, we plan to revolutionize the concept of GATE preparation in India”.

About GATE: is the qualifying exam for admission to ME/M.Tech/M.S courses in various institutes in India like the IISc, IITs, NITs, Government Engineering Colleges and also private engineering colleges. Many top notch PSUs like BHEL, NTPC, IOCL have adapted GATE as the qualifying exam for filling up their vacancies. GATE is an All India Examination conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and the Government of India.
