 VHP Memo to Home Minister & SASB against cutting Amarnath Yatra New Delhi Feb 28, 2012. Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) today submit a memorandum to the union home minister with regard to the duration of yatra for the year 2012. Memo signed by the VHP state president shri Swadesh Pal Gupta & the state secretary general shri Satyendra Mohan is also sent to the chairman Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and the state governor shri NN Vohra. In its Memorandum, VHP demanded that looking to the increased number of pilgrims every year, the duration of the yatra should not be less then two months, as usual. Releasing a copy of the memo the Media chief of VHP Delhi shri Vinod Bansal said that further curtailing duration of yatra for the current year 2012 (June 25 to Aug 2,2012) will not only create hurdles, to the pilgrims but may also invite accidents due to heavy raise in number of yatris every year. Sharmila finishes with hat-trick of birdies, shares lead with Nalini in 12 th  leg of Hero Women’s Pro Tour   NOIDA, February 28:  Three birdies in her last three holes saw Sharmila Nicollet get into a share of the lead with Nalini Singh Siwach as both shot two-under 70 in the first round of the 12 th  leg f the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour. Veteran Smriti Mehra lurked just one shot behind them at 71. Japan’s Mika Ikemura playing for the first time on an Indian domestic Tour event shot 73 and was placed fourth, one shot ahead of Meghna Bal (74) and Neha Tripathi was lying sixth at 76. Sharmila had a slow beginning with one birdie on the par-5 third hole, but she bogeyed the fourth and seventh to turn in one-over.
