Soth Korean Gov’t to pump in 2.2 tln won through 2022 for 4th industrial revolution ON  NOVEMBER 30, 2017  BY  NARESH SAGAR LEAVE A COMMENT EDIT South Korea’s government said Thursday it will allocate 2.2 trillion won (US$2 billion) for research and development (R&D) projects throughout 2022 to better prepare for what it calls the fourth industrial revolution. Under the project dubbed “I-Korea 4.0,” the Presidential Committee on the Fourth Industrial Revolution said it will secure new growth engine for the country by expanding industries’ productiveness and competitiveness under the idea of “intelligence, innovation, inclusiveness, and interaction.” The government said the project will generate some 366,000 new jobs along with 128-trillion-won worth of wealth by 2022. “The National Assembly and the government both consider the fourth industrial revolution as crucial,” said Science Minister Yoo Young-min, claiming the ministry will bring different governmental bodies
North Korea, Launched ICBM , Hwasong-15 ballistic missile ON  NOVEMBER 29, 2017  BY  NARESH SAGAR LEAVE A COMMENT EDIT North Korea on Wednesday said it has successfully tested a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile that can reach the whole of the continental United States. State television claimed that Pyongyang had now achieved its mission of becoming a nuclear state. State news agency KCNA said that the missile reached an altitude of 4,475 kilometers and flew 950 kilometers for 53 minutes. It added that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who personally signed off on the launch, declared with pride that now his country have finally realised the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force, the cause of building a rocket power. KCNA said that as a responsible nuclear power and a peace-loving state, North Korea would make every possible effort to serve the noble purpose of defending peace and stability of the world. It also said its weapons, meant
