Why Delhi unsafe for Women ? Jolly
BJP concerned on “Safety of Women” in Delhi
New Delhi, 17th March 2013: Delhi BJP Spokesperson Mr. Vijay Jolly expressed deep concern of Bhartiya Janata Party on the issue of safety of women folks in Delhi. As per a recent survey conducted by Tata Strategic Management Group in India, Delhi has been found as the most unsafe and unsecure place for women. Why Delhi unsafe for Women ? Questioned Mr. Jolly in a press statement.
BJP Leader Mr. Jolly stated that the State of Gujarat, Southern and North Eastern states of India have emerged as most secure places for women. But Delhi has the lowest ranking on Female Security Index. These are alarming facts pointed out by a independent survey and not sponsored by BJP. This should be a matter of introspection for Congress ruled Delhi Govt. led by Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit said Mr. Jolly.
Delhi Govt. failed to reign in the errant Delhi police force. It is deplorable that recently Delhi C.M. Smt Sheila Dikshit had a public spat to remove Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar. She proved a big failure. It is all in public knowledge. But no concrete steps have been taken at ground zero level to instill confidence among women after the tragic & unfortunate Nirbhaya rape case stated BJP Leader Mr. Jolly.
BJP Spokesperson Mr. Jolly stated that Tata Strategic survey should be a eye opener for the security agencies in the capital. Every 5 minutes there is a crime against women in the capital. Delhi police needs to tighten up its sleeves. The crime graph against women folks in Delhi is on steep upward swing. Rapes and abductions are continuing while Delhi Congress Govt. is immune to the attached social stigma that “DELHI IS UNSAFE FOR WOMEN FOLKS”.
