India to train Myanmar defence personnel

by sagarmedia India has assured its support to Myanmar in training its defence personnel. The assurance was given to the visiting Commander-in-Chief of Myanmar’s armed forces Vice Senior General Miu Aung Hlaing during discussions with Defence Minister AK Antony, Navy Chief Admiral Nirmal Verma, IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne and Army Chief Gen Bikram Singh in New Delhi on Friday.
The Myanmar General will visit Eastern Army Command in Kolkata, Eastern Naval Command at Visakhapatnam and some of the DRDO laboratories in Banaglore before leaving for home.
