NCC MENTOR OF THE YOUTH SAYS : RAKSHA RAJYA MANTRI
Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri Rao Inderjit Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Planning and Minister of State for Defence visited NCC Republic Day Camp-2016 being conducted at the Garrison Parade Ground. On arrival, the Hon’ble Minister was received by Lieutenant General A Chakravarty, VSM, Director General National Cadet Corps,
The Republic Day Camp is being attended by 2069 cadets including 695 girl cadets specially selected from 17 Directorates covering all the States and Union Territories and 71 (Seventy one) foreign cadets from six friendly foreign countries under the NCC Youth Exchange Programme.
The RRM was presented an impressive ‘Guard of Honour’ by cadets followed by a band display. The Band enthralled the visiting dignitary and other eminent spectators. During his visit to Flag Area the RRM was confidently briefed by young Cadets.
Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri along with other distinguished guests later witnessed a spectacular ‘Cultural Programme’ by the talented cadets in the NCC auditorium.
In his address, Rao Inderjit Singh complimented the cadets for their smart drill and enthusing displays. He said he was proud of NCC having entered Limca Book of Records for largest yoga performance by 9.5 lakh cadets at multiple venues on International Day of Yoga. He also appreciated the commitment of National Cadet Corps to ‘Groom Future Leaders’. Highlighting the immense contributions of NCC, he brought out that it is the foremost organisation engaged in Youth Empowerment, promoting unique mix of scholastic education and multifaceted activities enabling all round development of young generation in the country.

Introduce 2000 New Bus Routes to Private Operators [10m, 12m & 15m Buses], Engage 2 Lakh E-Rickshaws, Ring Railway System, Reserve Parking at METRO STATIONS for Electric Vehicles/Charging, 100% E-Taxis & Autos, Public E-Rickshaws Charging Flat Rs.5 to Rs.10 for 1-3 km. Introduce EMUs during Peak Hours to Utilize DMRC to Fullest Capacity. Ban CNG use for Private Cars or Charge Rs.100 Per Kg.
3. Implement TRIP REDUCTION Strategies. Schools Within 1-2 Kilometer, Colleges within 10 km, E-Offices, E-Courts [Written Filings], E-Marketing, Home Delivery of Weekly Grocery Supply, Shift Polluting Industries, Promote Software Industries, a DISPENSARY and a PUBS Cum Home Cooking Outlets, a Grocery Stores and in every Block of 2000 Dwellings, 500 Dwellings and 100 Dwellings respectively. BAN PARKING IN FRONT OF SHOPS.
BRT Corridor Being DEMOLISHED cost Rs.500 Cr Present Day Cost & Interest. To be built another Mass Transit to Cost Rs.200 Cr to Rs.500 Cr or more.
18km BRT Replacement May Cost Rs.200 Cr to Rs.1,000 Cr
Thus 18 km Track May Cost Rs.1000 Cr or Even More – 72 Tramsets of 500 Person Capacity May Cost Rs.1000 Crores and 240 Three Axel High Capacity Buses to Cost Rs.200 Cr.
Tax Rs.10,000 Cr – Give Back Rs.100,000 Cr To People
PUBS & Rationing of Fuels alone Shall Be Rs.10,000 Cr REVENUE Gain Annually to Delhi – Consumers Shall Save Rs.50,000 Cr to Rs.100,000 Cr from Reduced O&M vehicle Costs, Lower Cost of Grocery, Travel Time Savings, Children Get 2-3 Extra Hours for Play & Studies.
