Indian Women boxers clinch 4 gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze medals

Jan 18,  5:38 PM Indian women boxers notched up a rich haul of 4 gold, 9 silver and 9 bronze medals at the recently held 5th Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) Nations Cup in Ruma, Serbia. The tournament featured simultaneous competitions in the senior, youth and junior categories and Indians made an impression in all three age groups. Seema Punia, Pwilao Basumatary, Soniya and Manisha got the gold in senior, youth and juniors competitions. Boxers from 34 nations belonging to all the five AIBA confederations, participated in the Nations Cup.
