SurjRDB soars high with new solo track ‘SARDAR JI’
~Sparkling affection through the language of music and touching spirits across globe~
New Delhi, June 12, 2015:British-Asian music icon ‘;SurjRDB'; who lend his voice and compositions to Bollywood blockbusters like ‘;Happy New Year';, ‘;Namastey London';, ‘;Singh is King'; and the biggest family entertainer of 2015 ‘;Tanu Weds Manu Returns';, this time comes to India along with “SARDAR JI”his new solo track. Three Records Pvt. Ltd., launched this much awaited amidst throngs of celebrities and music lovers at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi.
RDB is a band initially formed by three British Sikh brothers in 1997, whose style blends western genres with traditional Indian beats and vocals. Surjeet Singh aka SurjRDB along with a team of singers, performers and composers have escalated to newer heights, as a pioneer in the history of music creates a unique genre call RDB. SurjRDB has worked along with celebrities as Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, T-Pain, Public Enemy to name a few.
SurjRDB has echoed his strong voice with the vision of representing Sardars across the globe from the streets of London to lanes of Delhi and defines that the turban with pride on a Sikh’s head is not only renowned by their actions and deeds but their equality.The track has been written by Harjog Singh (RDB’s father) and Kaamaaljeet Singh. Model turned Rapper JessieK is also featured in ‘;SardarJi';.
At the launch, the ever exuberant Surjsaid, “Given a positive perception towards me from others.  I feel that my song is not only sang by myself, but through me, is the voice of all proud Sardars across the world.”
