For the last 10 days East Delhi has become a mega-garbage dump with 15,000 tonnes of uncleared garbage making life miserable for residents and passersby. Neither does the AAP care, nor does the BJP. Over 12,000 East Delhi sanitation workers have been on strike because of non-payment of their salaries either by the BJP - which controls the MCD, or by the Delhi government - ruled by the AAP. Eventually, it is the people who are suffering the unbearable stink and run the risk of contracting infections & diseases.
