Will Ratna Pathak be lucky for Khoobsurat actor Fawad Khan?

Veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah will be reprising her late mother, Dina Pathak';s role in Disney India and Anil Kapoor Film Company’s Khoobsurat, the country’s first official Disney romance ,where she essays the role of Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan ‘s mother, playing the no-nonsense matriarch.

What’s ironic is that the last time Ratna Pathak had a full fledged role as a mother was for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na ,which made Imran Khan an overnight hit , the question now is will Ratna prove lucky for Fawad Khan ,who makes his big Bollywood debut in Khoobsurat alongside Sonam Kapoor.

Produced by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Anil Kapoor Film Company, Khoobsurat is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and stars Sonam Kapoor & Fawad Khan in the lead. The movie is slated for a September 19th worldwide release.
