Uttar Pradesh, the electioneering comes to an end this evening in 56 assembly constituencies of fourth phase areas where polling is to be held on Sunday. As many as 966 candidates are in fray in this phase which comprises 11 districts of central UP including the state capital Lucknow. UP: electioneering ends this evening The nomination process for seventh phase of elections has been completed. The elections for 60 seats spread in 10 districts of Moradabad, Bareilly and Lucknow divisions will be held on 3rd March. The campaigning for fifth and sixth phase is in progress. The election for 49 constituencies will be held on 23rd February under fifth phase, while the polling for 68 assembly constituencies under sixth phase will be held on 28th February. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has issued notice to the BSP state President and Party Candidate from Padrauna Swami Prasad Maurya for forcibly entering into a polling booth in his constituency on 11th February and manhandling a security personnel. He has been asked to reply by this evening.
