NEW DELHI OF EVERYDAY: LANES, MONUMENTS AND GARDENS
Heritage walk and talk by Robinson
"In a time in the city when all seem to be short of time, it is important to pause and reflect on the rich legacy which we have inherited - willingly/unwillingly. It is this pausing which enables us to understand, reflect and comprehend the time that has gone by. This walk and talk has been conceived with the idea of looking at the obvious that we take granted for, walk down memory lanes literally, see the same things in a new light with appreciation of the rich tangible and intangible heritage that we have been fortunate to have. The walk will unravel different layers of the rich history of Delhi. Let me invite you to empirically experience and be part of this living history.”
quotes Robinson
Robinson, an alumnus of St.Stephen’s college, Delhi is a theologian, poet, meditation practitioner, heritage walks expert and an art critic. He describes himself as a traveler in life who intends to journey well. He has been documenting the city, the known and the unknown for the last two decades.
For registration, please send you names, contact number and email Id latest by 19th February 2014 to hicc.delhi@gmail.com.
