India hits back at Pakistan UN voicing

India has said, Pakistan praises the virtues of terrorists and uses terrorism as a state policy towards misguided end of coveting the territory of others.
India’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Syed Akbaruddin said this while strongly hitting back at Pakistan for raising the issue of the killing of a terrorist in Kashmir in the UN recently.
Pakistan’s envoy on Kashmir had raised the issue during a debate on human rights in the United Nations General Assembly.
Lashing out at the Pak envoy’s raising of the issue at the multi-lateral world body, Mr Akbaruddin said, it is regrettable that Pakistan attempted to misuse the UN platform. He also said, Pakistan could not gain the membership of the UN’s human rights body because of its track record.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reviewed law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir at a high level meeting in New Delhi.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi along with officials of the security agencies attended the meeting.
