AAP hails SC Judgement as a testimony of Modiji's dictatorial and unconstitutional interference in State governments.
# Modi Government should learn a lesson and stop misusing offices of Governors
In its historic judgement today the Honourable Supreme Court has termed Modi Sarkar 's decision to dismiss the Arunachal Pradesh Government and impose Presidential Rule as "illegal and unconstitutional". The apex court ruled that Governor's actions were violative of the Constitution and restored the status as on December 2015.
The Aam Aadmi Party hails this as an historic verdict that has quashed Narendra Modi's dictatorial ambitions. Modi Sarkar has created unprecedented hurdles for state governments that are not controlled by the BJP. The Modi Government has insulted Indian democracy by attempts to destabilise elected governments through the Governor's office.
AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that the "SC judgement is yet another tight slap on dictatorial Modi Govt. Hope Modiji wud learn n now stop interfering in democratically elected govts". He added that Narendra Modi has no faith in the constitution and no respect for the people's mandate. He hoped that Narendra Modi would learn from the censure by the Supreme Court on both the Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh rulings and would now let the elected Delhi government function.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh stated in a press conference that our country will run as per the constitution and 'Hitler Shahi' will not be tolerated. He added that this judgement on Arunachal Pradesh was a tight slap to Modi Sarkar and now it should learn that Indian democracy will run as per the wishes of the citizens, through their elected representatives and Modiji cannot impose the dictatorship of Governors and LGs on state governments. the AAP is grateful to the Honourable Supreme Court for this judgement as it will stop those who are attempting to murder our democracy. We hope that Modi Sarkar learns from this and stops misusing agencies and offices of the government to run dictatorship.
AAP leader Ashutosh hailed this judgement as the victory of democracy over dictatorship. He hoped that the Supreme Court judgement would deter Narendra Modi from destabilising state governments like they have been doing in Delhi. The LG and the home office are sitting on 23 bills passed by the elected representatives of Delhi in order to stop this government from delivering. The Modi Government has created an atmosphere of fear by using the police and the CBI to raid, arrest and intimidate MLAs and officers. The AAP hopes that this strong rebuke will make Modiji's realise he cannot continue this reign of terror.
The AAP has resolute faith in the Indian Constitution and is hopeful that Modiji will now stop his illegal interference in our democratic institutions.
