Sweden wins Eurovision 2015 song contest, Russia 2nd
Swedish singer Mans Zelmerlow has won the Eurovision 2015 song contest in Vienna. Russia’s Polina Gagarina came in second after a tight competition during voting. Sweden ended up getting seven country votes and 365 fan votes for upbeat pop track “Heroes”, while Russia received five country votes and 303 fan votes for “A Million Voices.” Italy came in the third place, followed by Belgium and Australia, which was invited for the first time to mark the event’s 60th anniversary. Twenty-seven countries took part in the Eurovision final.
