Aam Aadmi Party reaction on Mr Arun Jaitley’s comments on Delhi mandate :
The comments of BJP leader and union finance minister Mr Arun Jaitley terming the historic mandate by the people of Delhi for the Aam Aadmi Party as an “experiment” have exposed his deep frustration and anti-democratic stance.
It is shocking that an individual holding an important portfolio in the union council of ministers has chosen to mock the will of the residents of the national capital.
The historic election results in February which have made the BJP and Congress irrelevant in the electoral politics of national capital are reverberating in the words of political leaders like Mr Jaitley.
The BJP is unable to recover from the drubbing it received in the Delhi assembly elections. The trend of BJP decline initiated by the Delhi elections has instilled a sense of insecurity in this party, which is now trying to undermine the democratically elected state government in the national capital.
With nothing substantial to inspire its cadres in Delhi – where the BJP has been tasting defeat in every assembly election since two decades, Mr Jaitley has made an unsuccessful attempt to divert attention by making mockery of the people’s mandate.
Ever since Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party came to power in Delhi, the BJP led regime at the Centre has been looking at ways and means to belittle the February election results in Delhi by using different offices including that of the Lt Governor to interfere with the working of the state government.
Despite complete non-cooperation and unfavorable moves of the Centre towards Delhi, the AAP government in the National Capital has implemented its key election promises and is working on others in less than first 100 days in office.
So much so, that comparisons are being drawn about the first 100 days of AAP rule in Delhi with one year of Modi led rule at the Centre.
The fact remains that none of the poll promises made by the BJP during Lok Sabha elections have been fulfilled so far. The BJP leadership itself has brushed aside these poll promises as proverbial usages (Jumlas), which were not part of any vision document of the Modi government.
Aam Aadmi Party would like to remind the BJP leadership that people have not forgiven those who have tried to mock at mandates given by them and no amount of misinformation by the BJP will help it any level.

Les garçons et Guillaume à table !
Thursday, 21st May 2015, 7:00pm
M. L. Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance française de Delhi
Initial release: November 20, 2013
Director: Guillaume Gallienne
Running time: 1h 27min
French with English Subs.
ENGLISH
Mrs. Gallienne, a rather temperamental upper middle-class lady, has three children, two of whom she considers as her sons and another she calls Guillaume. Logically indeed, the latter teenage creature does not picture himself as a boy, rather as a girl or at best as a homosexual. But how can a mother act in such an objectionable way? And why? Through a series of painful chain of experiences, Guillaume will discover little by little who he is actually and will manage to break free from her pernicious influence.
