No intention to privatise either Railways or Coal India: FM

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has assured the representatives of various trade unions that the government has no intention to privatise either Railways or Coal India. Mr. Jaitley said focus of the NDA government is to create more jobs and employment opportunities beside safeguarding the existing jobs and give better environment for ease of living for the common man.

In his opening remarks during pre-budget consultative meeting with the representatives of trade unions in New Delhi, the Finance Minister said government needs more money for investment in infrastructure sector to create more jobs for the youth. He said, the government wants to create better social security system for the labour force working both in organized and unorganized sector.
