Suresh N Patel is ED of Oriental Bank of Commerce

Pursuant to the notification dated 22nd Aug,2013 issued by Government of India,                Shri Suresh N Patel has assumed charge as Executive Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce w.e.f.1st January,2014. 
 
Born on 25th December, 1957, Shri Patel is a graduate in Science and Law. He is also a Certified member of Indian Institute of Bankers.
 
Shri Patel has over three decades of rich work experience. He started his career in 1981 as Agriculture Officer in Dena Bank. He has headed both semi-urban and metro branches of Dena Bank. Thereafter, he has been the Regional Head at Thane, Surat, Rajkot, Ahmedabad & Bangalore Regions. As Dy. General Manager he also headed Human Resource Management Department of the Bank.
 
On his elevation as General Manager on 01.02.2011, he was given operational responsibility of Gujarat State. He was the Convenor of SLBC in the state of Gujarat and also of Union Territory Level Banker’s Committee (UTLBC) for Dadra Nagar Haveli, Diu and Daman.
