Dozens injured as Pro-Morsi protesters, police clash in Cairo

Several dozen people have been injured after Egyptian police launched tear gas into a crowd of brawling protesters in central Cairo. Officers reportedly intervened in a fight between locals and pro-Morsi protesters, who tried to block traffic.
Egypt does not need to restart negotiations with the IMF now, thanks to aid from Arab states, Ashraf al-Arabi, who was named planning minister in the interim government, said on Monday. “The time is not appropriate to begin new negotiations with the IMF,” Arabi said, as cited by Reuters. “Arab aid will enable Egypt to get through the transitional stage in a good way.”
