Election process picks up in Himachal Pradesh

The scrutiny of nomination papers of Himachal Pradesh assembly election will take place on Thursday while Congress will release its manifesto tomorrow.

The last date for withdrawal of nominations is 20th October.
Earlier, Senior Congress leaders Virbhadra Singh and Vidya Stokes were among 257 candidates who entered the fray on the last day of filing papers for Himachal Pradesh assembly election on Wednesday.
A total of 531 nominations have been filed for the polls scheduled for 4th November.
