India – China Friendship Year

celebrate India – China Friendship Year, a five member delegation of Indian
Social Scientists led by Senior BJP Leader & President Delhi Study Group
Shri. Vijay Jolly departed for China.
The other prominent members are social leader Mr. Bhupinder Kansil, Dr. Geeta
Singh (Professor Delhi University), Mr. Rajiv Ahuja (President Panipat Study
Group) & Miss Nitika Sharma (Software & Computer Specialist).

Chief Spokesperson Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad.
CAFIU (Chinese Association for International
Understanding) has invited the Indian delegation to visit China from 15th
May to 25th May 2012 for a seminar titled “Knowing about China”. There shall be four countries apart from
India namely Bangladesh, Nepal & Philippines. The total number of
participants shall be 20, i.e. five from each country. The cities to be visited
in China include a trip to Nanchang (Capital City of Jiangxi Province) Beijing,
Hangzhou (Capital City of Zhejiang Province and Yiwu city (in prominence due to
Indian business people dispute there).
The Indian delegation shall also attend &
participate in a China dialogue “Under Standing & Cooperation” at Nanchang
(Capital City of Jiangxi Province), Beijing. Here there shall be foreign
participants from over ten countries including Asia, Africa, Europe &
American region with over 100 participants.
Before departing from India, Indian Study Group
leader Mr. Vijay Jolly stated that such social exchange programs and people to
people contacts - bring the nations more closer than ever. India wants strong
friendly relations with China. The Indo – China border dispute should be
resolved thru mutual discussions and meetings. Mr. Jolly hoped that China shall
remain a neutral referee in Indo – Pak disputes. The need of the hour is
understanding & cooperation and not confrontation stated Indian leader Mr.
Jolly.
