Army Medical Corp celebrate its 249 Anniversary on 1 Jan 2013.
On 1 Jan 1764,the first Indian Doctor joined East India Company and on 03  April 1947,amalgamation of Indian Medical department,Indian Medical Services and Indian Hospital Corps led to formation of the Indian Army Medical  Corps. Air Marshal D.P. Joshi is Director General, Armed Forces Medical Service.
