Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) Government of India has set up an Award Scheme to incentivize meritorious innovation and inventions in Petrochemicals and Downstream Plastics processing industries. The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), under the aegis Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. Of India has been entrusted with the implementation of the scheme, inter-alia, including the coordination for the distribution of award function.
The nominations have been received from various industries, teams, individuals and organisations for their innovative work/ contribution in Petrochemicals and downstream Plastics Processing Industry. The awards in various fields has been finalised by the committee & to reward the awardees a Award Funcion is being organised at New Delhi on 26.04.2012.
Shri. Srikant Kumar Jena Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation and Minister of State for Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. Of India has kindly consented to preside the function and distribute the awards to the selected awardees at 5:30 pm onwards on 26.04.2012 at Ashoka Hall , Manekshaw Centre, Swarna Jayanti Marg, Delhi Cantt, New Delhi 110 001.
