Abhishek Jha’s team wins the Pro-Am event of the PGTI Players Championship presented by Poona Club Ltd.

Pune, April 21, 2012: The Pro-Am event of the PGTI Players Championship presented by Poona Club Ltd. was won by professional Abhishek Jha and his team.
The Pro-Am was played in the team scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green. After the best ball was chosen all other players were to place their ball within one score card length before continuing play.
PGTI member Abhishek Jha led his team to victory with a gross score of 58. Abhishek’s team comprised of amateurs Mr. Nitin Lunkad, Mr. Amit Bhattacharya and Col. D K Bhandarkar.
PGTI member Abhinav Lohan’s team was second with a gross score of 60. Lohan’s team comprised of amateurs Mr. Ravish Kakkar, Ms. Sahana P and Mr. Satish Shitut.
