VHP delegation Meet VC-JNU against 'Beef & Pork Festival', submit memo

New Delhi. Sept 13, 2012. A high level delegation lead by shri Deepak Kumar, vice president Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) Delhi today meet Vice chancellor Jawahar Lal Nehru University shri Sudhir Kumar Sopory and seek immediate stern action against those involved in the 'Beef & Pork festival' to be organised in the JNU Campus. Delegation demanded debarring such students from fighting election, get them out of the University & file an FIR under various sections of the IPC & CRPC. VHP also lodged a written complaint with the Vasant Kunj Police station vide DD No. 050B to arrest all students & professors directly or indirectly involved in the matter which had spread hatred amongst different sections of the society and hurt the sentiments of Hindus.

Releasing a copy of the memorandum submitted to the VC shri Vinod Bansal, Media Chief, VHP Delhi said that I have already spoken to the VC over phone on the day one when this news first published but the university administration kept mum on the matter of action against the culprits. By meeting him personally today, we have given another chance to the VC to act upon otherwise administration has to face the music but we can't tolerate eating beef anywhere. Shri Ram Pal Singh, state secretary-VHP, shri Manoj Verma & shri Shiv Kumar of Bajarang Dal, shri Sandeep Ahuja of Akhand Hindusthan Morchaa  and Ms Gayatri of ABVP were also there in the delegation.
