Sinopsis:
Saslaya, una niña de 12 años, escapa de su Nicaragua natal junto a su pequeño hermano Darío, en busca de la madre que emigró hace ya ocho años al vecino país, Costa Rica.

Synopsis:
Saslaya and Dario's mother placed her children in the care of their grandparents in Nicaragua, and departed for Costa Rica in search of work. Frustrated by working in the garbage dumps after school and determined never again to be called into her grandfather's hammock at night, a now twelve year-old Saslaya runs away with her brother on a mission to find their mother in Costa Rica.
