Invitation for Seminar on 'Defence Exports from India: 21st March 2015

Dear Mr. Sagar,

As you are aware, the Government of India is planning a major push for its 'Make in India' policy in the defence sector as well.  One of the main focus in this initiative is to encourage defence manufactures both Indian and multinationals, to export defence equipment made in India.

Pahle India Foundation, (
www.pahleindia.org) in its endeavour to provide policy inputs to this initiative is organizing a half-a-day Seminar on 'Defence Exports from India: The Way forward' on 21st March 2015. This will be held at the Nehru Memorial Library and Museum Auditorium, New Delhi. The seminar will be from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.

Honourable Raksha Mantri Shri Manohar Parrikar has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and stay for the first session.

An approach paper for the Seminar is being prepared by noted defence and security analyst Nitin A. Gokhale.

Given your interest and expertise in the subject, may I request your presence at the seminar.

I look forward very much to getting your positive response to this special request. Please do send your confirmation earliest to
anil.kumar@pahleindia.org. For any queries, you may contact Anil Kumar at

Best Regards,

Yours Sincerely
